Backgrounds are hand dyed or transfer painted paper ironed onto fabric. Recycled metal has been both hand and die cut and embellished with machine stitches, embroidery stitches and beads.
I've become quite addicted to these little pieces. I love Angie Lewins work and have used her idea of simplified shapes in my work.

Hello - I rather like these. I have not ventured into metals myself, but do rather like coffee packaging and similar for stitching.
I love these pieces Annette. I wish I was coming to your class :-) I got an Angie Lewins book from the library a few days ago and it is inspirational.
Annette, these are fabulous! I am in love with every single one. Wish I could cross the pond and take this class with you. Will have to google Angie Lewins.
